1. Please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope. You will only receive a reply if this is included.

2. Please send a query letter following general query guidelines (found in many online or printed sources).

3. Please include information about yourself and how you plan to market your book.

4. We are looking for a very specific genre -- wholesome Christian themes with edifying, Biblical life lessons for all ages. Please be sure that your story fits our needs before sending your query.

5. We  are not in the market for children's picture books at this time.

6. We do not publish erotica, science fiction, romance novels (when that is the only theme of the story), time travel, ethereal or mystic themes, out-of-body experiences or magic and witchcraft related themes. Stories with characters who engage in unscriptural activities, must at some point show biblical consequences for those activities.

7. In keeping with mainstream publishing houses, please send your manuscript ONLY AFTER IT HAS BEEN WELL EDITED. This means that in most cases your story will have been professionally edited by an editor who is knowledgeable about the book publishing process.

4. We pay the full production cost of your book. We also make every effort to promote your book. However, we are an independent press and our resources are limited. Please understand that the marketing of your book depends primarily upon your efforts. It is your responsibility to get your name and your book into the public light. If you are unwilling or unable to market your book, please do not submit your project for our consideration.

 

6. Our books are available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and other online retailers, including our Sable Creek Press online store. They are also available to bookstores and other buyers through normal distribution channels.

7. Your book will appear in Books in Print, and will be available through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, the two largest distributors in the world. It will also be available in the United Kingdom and Europe through their distribution channels.
